The journal strictly follows the policy of expert-peer-review system to make decisions on the manuscript exclusively based on the academic qualities of the manuscript. Those manuscripts reporting the most important innovative research results will be published with top priorities. If the authors think their work have significant findings or is first reported globally, we suggest authors explain and provide related lines of evidence.

After a manuscript is submitted to the journal, the Editorial Office will first conduct a preliminary review. Manuscripts with insufficient originality, severe scientific or technical defects, lack of valuable information, or not within the scope of the journal will be rejected. The Editorial Office will notify the authors of the preliminary review results by e-mail. If the manuscript passes the preliminary review, the Editorial Office will send the author a "Receiving Notification", and the author is requested to send the letter of introduction from affiliated institution and review fee to the Editorial Office after receiving the notification.

After the preliminary review, the manuscript will enter the peer review process (double-blind). Generally, the manuscript will be sent to two reviewers of related majors for professional review, and then the Editorial Committee Members will make a final review of this manuscript.

The reviewers’ comments will be sent to the corresponding author. The author needs to provide a point-by-point response to the comments and submit a revised version of the manuscript to the journal. If the author disagrees with the suggestions/decisions of the peer reviews, the author may submit written allegation and make detailed interpretation and explanations for the reviewers’ suggestions/decisions to the Editorial Office.
